The George Hotel

Had an excellent stay at the George Hotel, liked location and rooms. The restaurant was fabulous for dinner, we ordered freshly cooked dishes. Even though it had not so nice views, its bathroom was huge.

the hotel was special and clean, with exceptional staff from the manager downwards. its location was indeed brilliant and only 5 minutes walk from lacy's caves.

I would stay there again, because I had an enjoyable stay and didn't want to leave. Everything is fabulous, I loved it. It has stunning, fab setting, next to the centre, bars.

The place was fairly clean with very good staff and location. I loved that the room was well-designed on lower floors. Very good check-out was useful.

Homely and clean place with a friendly reception. Plenty of food for breakfast including scrambled eggs and toast.

Lovely romantic room, superb breakfast - fruit, pastries and cheese included. I slept so comfy in the comfy bed. Service was very personalised during my stay too. Quiet location, very close to st. Andrew's church.

Traditional hotel, fairly clean, efficient staff, location right in the centre of town was ideal. The bed was very comfy; the room was nicely furnished and brand-new.

The place was extremely comfy, spotlessly clean, had perfect staff and location. The room I booked was recently refurbished and available with a Nice view over the market and an electric fan.

Reasonable base for staying in the centre of Penrith. There was a nice bar with incredible service.

Everything was good, hotel offers fantastic service and top location. The beach nearby was sandy and the view was absolutely gorgeous. Delightful staff made our stay so best. The lovely breakfast had lots of meals and the food we tasted was appetising. Reception had a bar.

Funny staff, great value for money. Perfect food, scenic view, perfect service. Our double room was equipped with coffee, climate control and balcony. Historic location, a short walk to st. Andrew's church. We appreciated the Thai cuisine in the restaurant. Pool was amazing too.

We found Deniz foods to dine in 500 metres from the hotel. A lovely base for exploring Penrith.

Set only 400 metres away, angel lane chippie is a wonderful place to eat nearby. Not far from Penrith Museum and other tourist attractions. We can recommend it with confidence. Free Wi-Fi was available there;)))
